Canada is due to hold federal elections by October 2025, but mounting troubles for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau may hasten early elections (Center for Strategic & International Studies, Government of Canada, Yahoo [Reuters], 338Canada). In the event of a tie, the party with more total votes in the elections will be considered to have won more seats. In the event of a split in a party or a merger of parties, further resolution instructions will be provided. When the election date is set, the closing date will be adjusted accordingly. Confused?
