Microsoft makes a competing product to Google Meet called Microsoft Teams which among other things also offers video conferencing.
Microsoft has been a significant investor in OpenAI, investing more than $10 billion in the company and incorporating OpenAI's technology into its products. Altman said he would join Microsoft, before reportedly returning to OpenAI following negotiations with the board.
