Question description

NASA's Artemis program is a series of missions to explore the moon. The first mission, Artemis I, was launched on November 16, 2022, and performed an uncrewed flyby of the moon.

The second mission, Artemis II, is planned to be the first crewed mission to fly by the moon since humans last left low Earth orbit with the Apollo 17 mission in 1972. Its launch is scheduled to be no earlier than November of 2024.
