Flowering plants (angiospermiae) are the clade of plants that produce flowers for reproduction. The longest-living known flowering plants are the baobabs (Adansonia). The oldest baobabs consist of multiple stems with different ages. Five of the six oldest known baobabs have at least partially collapsed in recent years. The oldest remaining tree is the Humani Bedford Old Baobab in the Savé valley in Zimbabwe. It is estimated to be 1800 years old.
